What are the steps involved in egg donation?

Oocyte donation takes place in 5 stages: 1) Initial contact (often by telephone) for initial information and to make an appointment 2) Grouped appointments with the medical team at the donation center to be fully informed, carry out a medical check-up with blood tests and ultrasound, most often meet with a psychologist and finally give consent 4) Ovaries are stimulated by hormone injections for around ten days 5) Oocytes are retrieved by vaginal puncture, guided by ultrasound, under anesthesia, lasting around ten minutes.
