Can the donor know/set a limit to the number of children born from his sperm donation?

Published on 23 December 2024

No, the donor cannot know whether his or her donation has resulted in the birth of a child, nor can he or she know the number of children born from the donation. The bioethics law

limits the number of children born from a single sperm donor to 10, to reduce the risk of inbreeding for future generations.
